alexa + edison {engaged}

Sigh. Aren’t these guys just so…adorable?? Edison and Alexa quickly became very close friends of ours during our (much too short) year in Colombia. They taught us to salsa dance, like, for real, not like silly white people. They taught us lots of Spanish, especially the swear words and insults (very important when learning another language, by the way), and patiently endured all the times we would mess up trying to say god knows what. And, in typical Colombian fashion, we enjoyed lots of nights dancing with them, hanging out on the street drinking (too much) aguardiente, and laughing. Of all our Colombian friends we sadly had to leave a few weeks ago, I think we will feel their absence in our lives the most. I was so honored to take these engagement photos for them and can’t wait to visit with them again, hopefully in time for their wedding. They are two of the most genuinely kind and warm-hearted people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and they will be long-time friends.
